Wines by KT are small, lovingly cared for parcels of fruit that have traditional techniques used in their creation. I’m passionate about the township of Watervale 5452 and am working with dry grown, sustainably farmed vineyards in the area. With gentle care from grapegrower to winemaker, working with sustainable principles, it’s my intention to produce wines with drinkability and personality.
2021 Cabernet Franc
This is a new baby to the KT portfolio and is a small, select, hand-picked parcel of Cabernet Franc from dry-grown vines in the heart of Penwortham township - one of the cooler, protected areas of the Clare Valley. Wild fermented, open fermented and traditionally basket pressed, our gentle hand plunging of the ferment and minimal working has produced a cabernet franc with lifted bright violets and sweet bramble fruit with a juicy bright core.
