Howarth - Crafted to be Remembered
Every so often, a wine comes along that demands to be remembered.
A bottle so exquisitely crafted, its story unfolds like a novel you can’t put down — layer by layer, sip by savoured sip.
Meet Howarth 2022.
A wine defined by intention, passion, and place.

Crafted by Clare Valley winemaker Kerri Thompson, this is more than a new release — it's a declaration. A turning point. A new chapter.
Kerri has been honing her craft since 1998 under her label KT Wines, chasing purity, clarity, and character in every bottle. But this — this is something deeply personal.
Howarth 2022 is a love letter to land, legacy and vision. A wine that speaks in Kerri’s own voice, under her own name — assured, unapologetic, and unmistakably present in every glass.
Nestled among golden hills and sentinel gums of Armagh region in the Clare Valley, the Howarth Vineyard sits on ancient Terra Rossa soils, first planted in 1987 by meticulous grower Jim Howarth. Kangaroos drift through rows as light stretches across the vines.
When Kerri took the reins five years ago, she saw the magic instantly — and you’ll taste it in every drop.
2022.
A winemaker’s dream.
A wet winter followed by a long, gentle Indian summer allowed grapes to ripen slowly and gracefully. Every decision was a conversation with the land — and not every vintage will see a Howarth release. But this one, undeniably, deserved it.
80% Shiraz. 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Two noble grapes, elevated in harmony.
Shiraz leads — supple, spicy, plush with red fruit and velvety tannins. Cabernet follows — dark, structured, fine-lined with bay leaf and depth.
This is no imitation. While it nods to Australia’s great traditions, Howarth 2022 tells its own tale — powerful yet poised, bold yet elegant.
From the moment you open the bottle: violets, dark cherry, chocolate, sweet spice, and subtle French oak.
The first sip is bold and mouthfilling.
The second reveals layers — a slow-building dance of Shiraz and Cabernet, structured and seamless.
It lingers — a wine that stays with you long after the glass is empty.
Howarth 2022: A story grown, not written. A bottle to be savoured, celebrated, revered and remembered.
