Wines by KT are small, lovingly cared for parcels of fruit that have traditional techniques used in their creation. I’m passionate about the township of Watervale 5452 and am working with dry grown, sustainably farmed vineyards in the area. With gentle care from grapegrower to winemaker, working with sustainable principles, it’s my intention to produce wines with drinkability and personality.
2023 Peglidis Watervale Riesling
My 16th release of Peglidis Vineyard Riesling! The 2023 vintage is full of citrus punch and exotic fruit with juicy succulent acidity. Due to the cool and wetter growing season vintage was the latest on record. The cool conditions gave us lovely high natural acidity and so with very careful hand picking and selection of bunches we have created a wine from the brightest and best fruit. The wines are flavoursome and will be long-lived in the cellar.
Just recently, this wine has picked up a not-too-shabby score of 95 points in the latest Halliday Wine listings. A testament to the growers, finessing in the winemaking process, and certainly some fortuitous seasonal conditions.

Flavour Profile
The Peglidis vineyard has been carefully tended by the same custodians for the last fifty years and is an important wine growing source for wines by KT.
With its chocolate loam over limestone, the soil has great water holding capacity which ensures healthy vine canopy as fruit protection. This all makes for excellent condition, healthy grapes.
